Now What?

Greetings to all, let us thank God for this new beautiful and blessed day after Christmas and weekend. Let's not take anything for granted, especially our life and our health. Let us praise God for the gift of eternal life that He has given to us through His Son Jesus. Amen

Christmas means different things to different people. But, now that Christmas has come and has gone, the question is, "now what"? Will we make room for God to be in each of our hearts and our plans for the future?

Life seems to go by so quickly. It's incredible to think of and to be reminded of what God has done for us! He has rescued us from the darkness bringing us into the light and His Kingdom.

With each Christmas season's passing, our souls should be encouraged and stimulated spiritually with a renewed passion and commitment for God, knowing that He made a way out for our guilt and shame through the introduction of His Son Jesus.

Colossians 1:13-17 (GW)

13 God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of his Son, whom he loves.

14 His Son paid the price to free us, which means that our sins are forgiven.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

16 He created all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible. Whether they are kings or lords, rulers or powers— everything has been created through him and for him.

17 He existed before everything and holds everything together.

Lesson: With the uncertainty of the days to come, we must make up our minds whether God will be supreme and rule in our lives.

Now What? Since Christmas has passed and we stand on the verge of a new year, let us serve God and trust Him to care for us according to His perfect plan and hold everything together.

And let us not slip back into the darkness that the world has to offer.
