My Feet Are Slipping, Help Me

Greetings to all, we have made it to "hump" day Wednesday; let us thank God that we have made it this far even in our weakness and for the hope that we can look forward to finishing this week strong with His help. Amen

We serve an amazing God who understands that we sometimes fall short and knows that we will need to call on Him from time to time.

The beauty of it is that when we are weak, and it seems that the Lord has forgotten us, we need to know that He will never reject or abandon his people. When we find ourselves slipping and cry out to God, He doesn't force us to try to save ourselves, but He steps right in.

There will be times when we will be anxious, depressed, and overwhelmed by the cares of the world, but God will comfort us. He will hold us up when we feel like we can't go on and when we are tempted to go off-course.

Psalm 94:14-19 (MSG)

14 GOD will never walk away from his people, never desert his precious people.

15 Rest assured that justice is on its way, and every good heart put right.

16 Who stood up for me against the wicked? Who took my side against evil workers?

17 If GOD hadn't been there for me, I never would have made it.

18 The minute I said, "I'm slipping, I'm falling," your love, GOD, took hold and held me fast.

19 When I was upset, and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up.

Lesson: Many times in our lives, if God hadn't been there for us when our feet began to slip and we were losing control, where would we be?

When we cry out to God in our time of need, His love will always be there, strengthening and guiding us so that we can go on.
