My Cup Over Flows

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us give God the glory for all of His blessings. May each of our cups continue to overflow with God's many blessings so that we can share with others. Amen

There is nothing more encouraging or exciting in life than having one's daily life needs and purposes fulfilled and met. As God's children, we can expect to receive the many blessings that our God so generously gives to us.

When we talk about having our cup overflowing, we refer to our lives and the spiritual and emotional needs that help us fulfill our purposes.

We must manage and maintain the level in our cup and not let it go below the depletion level. If we allow it to go to a depletion level, we won't have anything to encourage and inspire ourselves, let alone doing good for others and those in our lives.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (GW)

8 Besides, God will give you his constantly overflowing kindness. Then, when you always have everything you need, you can do more and more good things.

All that overflows is what we have to offer to others and those in our lives.

Psalm 23:5 (HCSB)

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Lesson: We serve a God who desires to not only bless us exceedingly and abundantly with what we need. He gives us much more so that we will always have a cup/life overflowing.
