Greetings to all. As we begin this new week, let us experience true peace from the giver of peace.
It has been said that "hurt people hurt people" and that "misery loves company." Throughout our lives, we will inevitably encounter individuals facing turmoil who desire to disturb the peace of others. In turmoil, we tend to show up angry or hurt when, in fact, we are fearful. Even amidst distress and anxiety, Jesus Himself offers genuine peace to all.
Luke 24:36–37 (MSG)
36 While they were saying all this, Jesus appeared and said, "Peace be with you."
37 They thought they saw a ghost and were scared half to death.
Lesson: Let us anchor ourselves in knowing that our peace comes from Jesus, the ultimate source of our peace. His presence is a constant reassurance, a comforting beacon in any storm.
