Greetings to all; as we begin this week, let us not expect things to change without putting in some effort.
The way we choose to live will determine our moral excellence. If we fall short, we must decide to change. We must recognize that meaningful changes take time and require effort.
2 Peter 1:5–7 (GW)
5 Because of this, make every effort to add integrity to your faith, and integrity, add knowledge;
6 to knowledge add self-control; to self-control add endurance; to endurance add godliness;
7 to godliness, add Christian affection; to Christian affection, add love.
Lesson: Be willing to put in the work to make changes. By living with integrity and making good and honest decisions, we can grow and maintain our faith with a sense of moral excellence that will guide us throughout our lives.
