Greetings to all; as we end this week, let us pray not to harbor any negative thoughts about those and the things we have engaged in this week.
People will hurt us. Loving and praying for those we perceive as our enemies is not an easy lesson to learn. However, in our walk with the Lord, we are guided and expected to be loving and forgiving servants.
Luke 6:27–28 (NCV)
27 “But I tell you who are listening, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who are cruel to you.
Lesson: It can be challenging to extend love and prayers to those we see as enemies. Because of our relationship with the Lord, it is an essential part of our spiritual journey. Let us free ourselves from any lingering negative emotions we may have from our interaction with those we have engaged.
