Lord Prepare Me...

Greetings to all, let us not forget to pray to God and thank Him for keeping us through the week. We have survived another week because He has saved us from the fiery darts of the enemy. Amen.

We are here, and each of us has survived this week, so we must move on to face what today holds. Let us accept where we are and know that we are where God wants us to be. We must keep moving, always preparing for what's before us.

Psalm 23:4 (HCSB)

4 Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.

We must trust and believe that every promise God has made He will keep. Whether we find ourselves at the end of the week, on the mountain top, or down in the valley, every experience is a part of God's divine plan for our lives.

Often, we pray to God for what we think we need or want, and that's ok, He tells us to ask, and it shall be given.

We often fail to pray that He prepares us to handle what we have prayed for. Not all of God's answers to our prayers are enjoyable!

However, we should always thank Him for answered prayers; they will end up being a blessing for us.

Luke 1:45 (HCSB)

45 She who has believed is blessed because what was spoken to her by the Lord will be fulfilled!"

Lesson: The thing about God is that we never know what He is up to in our lives. Many times we won't understand what he is doing.

God uses each experience, good or bad, to prepare us.

Even when it seems like we are in a season of waiting, God is actively preparing us for was what He has already ordained for us to do.
