Lord I Will Wait

Greetings to all; things may be going a little slow this Tuesday, and we may need or desire to know what is ahead. Let us have the faith to wait on God.

No one wants to wait; besides, there is no joy in waiting. Despite there being many things in life that can wait, we find ourselves waiting for more than we would like.

Psalm 62:1–2 (GW)

1 My soul waits calmly for God alone. My salvation comes from him.

2 He alone is my rock and my savior—my stronghold. I cannot be severely shaken.

Lesson: There is wisdom in waiting on God. It is always a good use of our time to wait on God. As we stay calm and encouraged, we can experience great change and be sustained when we wait on God because God is good to us when we wait for Him.
