Women @ the Well, on this Monday, as we begin to do good works this week, let us seek God and His wisdom to guide us. Amen
Moving into a new week or facing paths unknown can be scary. Each of us will face some decisions this week and will probably need some directions and seek some directions. God is our sure Guide!
As God's people, we are blessed that we don't have to worry or stress about what' ahead, nor the direction we should go. We have a God who personally promises to take us by the hands to lead and guide us.
Isaiah 42:16 (RSV)
16 And I will lead the blind in a way that they know not, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them.
Isaiah 48:17 (NRSV)
17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your own good, who leads you in the way you should go.
Lesson: When traveling on unknown paths, just because we can't see a way doesn't mean that there isn't a way. Look to God; He will always make a way.
