Greetings to all; as we begin this new week as a sojourner of this world and life, let us remember there is a better place to call home.
We all have traveled away from home, only to find ourselves longing to return to that place. For each of us, the reason or reasons to return may vary, but the thought of returning is the same: comfort, peace, and familiarity.
Philippians 3:20–21 (MSG)
20 But there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high Heaven! We’re waiting for the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He’ll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he puts everything as it should be under and around him.
Lesson: While this life journey is filled with our loved ones and memories, our souls yearn for the promise of that unique and eternal home called Heaven, where we hope also to have peace and comfort not found here on earth.
