Living With Open Hands

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, may God bless the work of our hands, and may everything that we do and touch begin to prosper. Amen

Everyone expects and has a desire to be blessed and happy. Our good God, the one with the resources, promises us that we can and will be blessed and happy in His word. However, we must live a life committed to God and use our hands for good.

Psalm 128:1-2 (TLB)

1 Blessings on all who reverence and trust the Lord—on all who obey him!

2 Their reward shall be prosperity and happiness.

Deuteronomy 28:12 (MSG)

12 GOD will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule, and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations, but you yourself won't have to take out a loan.

Genesis 28:20-22 (TLB)

20 And Jacob vowed this vow to God: "If God will help and protect me on this journey and give me food and clothes,

21 and will bring me back safely to my father, then I will choose Jehovah as my God!

22 And this memorial pillar shall become a place for worship; and I will give you back a tenth of everything you give me!"

Lesson: With open hands, we can both receive and give back to God. What motivation it is to serve a generous God who desires to make us rich in everything.

Because our blessings and happiness come through our level of commitment to living for God and our open hands, our commitment and open hands will determine the measure of our blessings and happiness.
