Greetings to all, we have made it to the first weekend of the new year, and what a bumpy ride it has been. Nevertheless, let us experience the peace of God and strive for the limitless potential that we have in Christ. Amen
Our world is confusing as ever right now and, for many, looks bleak. But this shouldn't surprise us. We are told in God's word that we can expect to have trouble. And who wants trouble? No one!
John 16:33 (MSG)
33 I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world."
It will always be something happening in our lives and this world; we need to not focus on the difficulties but the fact that Jesus has overcome the world. No matter what happens around us, our potential's power, and the ability to live our lives without limits comes with being connected to Christ.
John 15:5 (NLT2)
5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I, in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
Lesson: As God's people, we shouldn't let fear and excuses stop us from living up to our potential. Despite us striving to be good and trustworthy people who do what is right, Jesus says that staying close to Him is the only way for us to live up to our unlimited potential.
Let us take advantage of our "Divine" connection that helps us to be diligent in our spiritual growth in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
This connection is essential for us to live a life free and delivered from sin to experience our unlimited potential.
