We are called to humble service, and the way we live our lives will demonstrate who we are as we follow the example of Christ. As Christians, we are called to live a down-to-earth lifestyle by being humble and grateful. As we live ordinary Christian lives, we realize that we are not here to exist only for ourselves, but we exist for each other.

39 If your first concern is to look after yourself, you'll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you'll find both yourself and me.
Our day-to-day lives may never go or be the way we expect or want them to go, but we must live them to the best of our ability.
1 Thessalonians 4:1 (NLT2)
1 Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.
Lesson: If we one day expect to live in eternity with God in heaven, we must Have a down-to-earth faith in Christ and live a humble, ordinary, down-to-earth Christian life pleasing to God.
