Letting Go Is Hard To Do

Greetings to all, on this Friday, let us thank God for allowing us to make it to the end of another week. Seeing as we did not quit, we have managed to come this far. Amen

Because life is balance and challenging, we need to know that we can trust God as Christians. We can trust Him when we are confused about letting go of people, thoughts, or ideas. Each day we must choose which to let go of, good or bad.

For most of us, we know that holding on can be worse than letting go, however, letting go can be one of the hardest things to do. We often learn this hard lesson in relationships or our jobs when the people we trust turn their backs on us and things don't go as planned. We need to know who we are because people will quickly turn their backs on us, leaving us feeling rejected.

Psalm 118:8 (KJV)

8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

While God desires that we love and honor each other, many of us live with rejection daily. You may not have seen a demonstration of genuine love this week from those you love or your co-workers, but don't let that get you down. Learn to let it go.

Psalm 37:5 (TLB)

5 Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it, and he will.

Lesson: We must know who we are and let go no matter how hard it is to do if we want to move forward.
