Greetings to all, this Sunday, as we freely worship God, let us acknowledge that all power is in His hands. May He give us the wisdom and strength to accept the challenges to change or let go so we can receive and witness His sovereignty in our lives.
As Christians, worship to God is an essential part of our lives. God created us to worship Him and has persisted and been involved in making it possible, and no one or nothing can change that.
Psalm 148:5-6 (TLB)
5 Let everything he has made give praise to him. For he issued his command, and they came into being;
6 he established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked.
God is faithful and says what He means and means what He says. We see this in the straightforward message to Pharoah, "Let My People Go."
Exodus 6:29 (MSG)
29 God addressed Moses, saying, "I am GOD. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I say to you."
Exodus 8:1 (MSG)
1 GOD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and tell him, 'GOD's Message: Release my people so they can worship me.
Like Pharoah, Satan doesn't want us to worship anyone but him, and He will try to hold us captive with distractions and meaningless thoughts.
Lesson: We must never give up hope when it seems like there is no chance of being rescued or delivered from whatever bondage we face. We are encouraged to trust God to show us His unique and unbelievable ways of delivering us.
