Let Go And Let God

Greetings to all, good Monday morning, afternoon, or evening, let us thank God for a new day and the beginning of this new week. Let us enter this new week with the peace of God, and let's let go of all of our worries and the problems of last week and let God take care of them. Amen.

Although the world is stressful right now, some are living their best life now. Yet others need a little encouragement. More often than not, there are times when we allow the stressors of life to crowd our hearts and minds. We find ourselves or our loved ones desperately needing something to change in our lives.

Those needs come in many forms; they may be healing, financial, peace, salvation, wisdom, or hope. When we feel we can't take much more during those times of need, and when we are struggling, we need God's strength. God is our protection and our strength. He always helps us in our times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Isaiah 41:10 (NCV)

10 So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you.

For us to let go and let God, we must first acknowledge that in and of ourselves, we are not always able to change the circumstances in our own lives, not to mention the lives of others. We must put our trust in God and have faith, allowing Him to do what only He can do.

James 1:5-6 (GW)

5 If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and he will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn't find fault with them.

6 When you ask for something, don't have any doubts. A person who has doubts is like a wave that is blown by the wind and tossed by the sea.

Lesson: While we may not always know God's plan, He gives us the wisdom to know that we can let go and trust Him when we bring our concerns to Him. He assures us of His strength and willingness to help us.
