Greetings to all; this Tuesday, as we progress through the week, remember the importance of doing right and lifting others regardless of our positions.
While striving to be great, only some people want leadership roles. Those who willingly step into leadership positions must respectfully treat those under their guidance.
Matthew 20:25–26 (NIV84)
25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.
Lesson: To lead means to serve and uplift. And not to flaunt power. A true leader is motivated and driven to do what is right. A leader desires to support and lift those under their guidance. A leader never desires to mistreat or abuse those under their guidance.
