Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, let us focus on doing good and only the things that are profitable and valuable in our walk with Christ.
Each of us will face temptations and the need to practice a little self-control. With each new day and temptation, we must keep our guards up, set boundaries and limitations on what we will say and do as we live our lives, even in the most stressful times.
Psalm 51:10 (TLB)
10 Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires.
Proverbs 25:28 (NLT2)
28 A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.
Lesson: As God's people, the ability and desire to protect and keep our spirits right comes from the abundance of God's Spirit that is within us. His Spirit gives us the ability to exercise self-control and keep our thoughts and actions in line so that Christ gets the glory.
