Greetings to all; this weekend, let us strive not to worry and not see our efforts as failures. Instead, let us focus on finding our purpose in God, a purpose that brings us hope and fulfillment.
Although worry gets us nowhere, it is our default. The reality of life can have the effect of a rocking chair. The chair's motion feels like a movement, but we are not getting or going anyway. Do not be dismayed; in Christ, we not only have our being, but we also live and move.
Acts 17:28 (GW)
28 Certainly, we live, move, and exist because of him. As some of your poets have said, 'We are God's children.'
Lesson: As God's children, we are never far from Him. Although our efforts to get over our challenges, our moves seem useless; we get our life, motion, and being from God. His presence is a constant, a beacon of hope in our journey.
