Keep on Asking, Searching, And Seeking

Greetings to all, it's a blessing to have the chance to experience another day. As we have our being on this Tuesday, it's comforting to know that we serve a God who knows and understands everything we are going through. Amen

Yes, 2020 was hard, but we must know that God knows all about it, and He doesn't want us to give up now. He also didn't bring us this far to leave us.

Because God knows and understands everything we are going through doesn't mean we should sit around with our arms folded, waiting for Him to fix it or give us everything. We are instructed in the word to keep praying. We must keep on asking, knocking, and searching.

Matthew 7:7-8 (GW)

7 "Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you.

8 Everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find, and for the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Although Jesus instructs us to persist in pursuing God, we tend to give up after a few times of uncertainty, and we assume that God cannot be found.

If we're going to have a rewarding personal relationship with God, we must have faith, focus, and follow-through on our desire to seek Him.

Isaiah 55:6 (NLT2)

6 Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.

Lesson: "It's not wrong to come to God many times with the same requests—Jesus encourages persistent prayer.

But He condemns the shallow repetition of words that are not offered with a sincere heart. We can never pray too much if our prayers are honest and sincere.

Before you start to pray, make sure you mean what you say."
