Greetings to all, on this Monday and throughout the week, let us represent and be the best of who we are, and may our hearts be filled with love, compassion, and forgiveness for each other. Amen
It's a given fact and the way of life that no matter what we do, someone will have something negative to say. We often find ourselves quick to condemn and judge each other based on performance, appearance, and situations before understanding and having compassion or forgiveness.
We must seek help from the Holy Spirit to have a spirit of discernment and a spirit of judgment so that we don't project on others what we feel and see in ourselves. With the help of the Spirit, we will have the ability to judge well by only judging others by the words of God.
Psalm 119:66 (HCSB)
66 Teach me good judgment and discernment, for I rely on Your commands.
Matthew 7:1-2 (MSG)
1 "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults—unless, of course, you want the same treatment.
2 That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging.
Lesson: Please do not judge others, but if for any reason we find that others are judging us, we must try not to take it personally. There is a law of justice that will only be fulfilled by Jesus when He sits on the judgment seat when He will bring judgment on all humanity at the end of time.
