Greetings to all, let us thank God for this new day and trust Him for tomorrow. Let us remain Joyful by allowing our first thoughts in the mornings and our last thoughts at night to be about Jesus; so that His Joy never leaves us. Amen
Each new day we experience is a precious gift from God; yes, there will be weeping, and there will be nights. They will come to pass and will not last forever. But we must first learn how to endure and not be blinded by our nights if we want to see His glory in them.
We must continue to remain strong when our pain and suffering seem like the darkest nights that are lasting forever with no end or without a ray of light, love, hope, peace, or Joy.
To get through our nights and dark times, we must praise God in them. We must surrender them to the Lord daily, and He will turn them into Joy. He promises us that His mercy is sufficient, and it is new every morning. The key is for us to give them to Him.
Psalm 30:4-5 (TLB)
4 Oh, sing to him you saints of his; give thanks to his holy name.
5 His anger lasts a moment; his favor lasts for life! Weeping may go on all night, but in the morning there is Joy.
Romans 8:18 (NKJV)
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Joy is on the Way!
Luke 1:30-33 (GW)
30 The angel told her, "Don't be afraid, Mary. You have found favor with God.
31 You will become pregnant, give birth to a son, and name him Jesus.
32 He will be a great man and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.
33 Your son will be king of Jacob's people forever, and his kingdom will never end."
Lesson: Just as God sent His Son Jesus to bring light into this dark and fallen world to save each of us, the morning will come to each of us.
As children of God, when our days and lives seem dark and dreary, and pain and suffering surround us, we can have Joy.
But we must hold on and not give up in the night; our Joy and help will come from the Lord in the morning.
