Greetings to all, praise God, for we know that Jesus is on the mainline, and we can reach Him at any time. Lord God, we ask that you please help all the Women @ the Well and our plans for the weekend. Continue to lead and protect each woman and those whom we love. Amen
We can all relate to being able to pick up the phone to call our parents, best friend, or pastor when the going gets tough, and sometimes we don't get an answer.
But what an excellent assurance, talking to Jesus is just like being a phone call away.
It's reassuring to know that God wants us to call him in our times of trouble because He is on the mainline.
It's a great privilege and honor knowing that we can talk to our God anytime, anywhere, and concerning anything. He already knows everything about us.
Jeremiah 33:1-3 (MSG)
1 While Jeremiah was still locked up in jail, a second Message from GOD was given to him:
2 "This is GOD's Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as GOD:
3 'Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.'
Lesson: Unlike when we sometimes call on man and can't get an answer, God always answers. It may not be what we want to hear, but He still hears our prayers, and he always answers them.
We serve a big God, and all we need to do is call on Him!
