It's Ok To Cry Out To God

Greetings to all, thank God that we have made it halfway through the week to another "hump" day Wednesday and that we have God with us. Let's continue to ask for His guidance and strength to carry us through our times of misunderstandings and weaknesses. Amen

If you have reached the middle of this week or a time in your life and feel that you have reached your limits, cry out to God if you have to, and be comforted in knowing that our God promises to be with us, strengthen us, and help us.

We know from Scripture that there is a time to cry and that everyone will cry at some point in their lives. Yes, EVERYONE!!!

We also know that Many relate crying to weakness, but in Scripture, we know that some of the most confident and the strongest people cried out to God.

Psalm 55:17 (KJV)

17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Most are familiar with John 11:35 when Jesus cried/wept when His friend Lazarus died. But He cried on several occasions, and He is God in the flesh.

Hebrews 5:7 (GW)

7 During his life on earth, Jesus prayed to God, who could save him from death. He prayed and pleaded with loud crying and tears, and he was heard because of his devotion to God.

Lesson: When we feel that we have reached our limits and are struggling with anything, the best thing we can do is to cry out to the Lord and pray.

The Lord will clear our minds and energize us with the strength to finish strong.
