It is Finished

Greetings to all, on this Good Friday, let us embrace the fact that the Lord's sacrificial act on the cross redeems and sets us free. May His unconditional love overflow and stir our spirits and bless us with a newfound revelation of who He is and the magnitude of what He has done for us. Amen

Throughout the year, we read God's word, and we are encouraged to trust and believe it to be true. We believe that there is nothing impossible with God, even His plan for humanity's salvation, allowing His only begotten Son to die on the cross.

During the year 2020 and the months into 2021, many of us have experienced so much death. Death is not the end. As Christians, we must hold on to the hope of the crucifixion of Jesus, which is the Bible's foundation.

Romans 5:6-8 (NCV)

6 When we were unable to help ourselves, at the moment of our need, Christ died for us, although we were living against God.

7 Very few people will die to save the life of someone else. Although perhaps for a good person someone might possibly die.

8 But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 (NCV)

14 We believe that Jesus died and that he rose again. So, because of him, God will raise with Jesus those who have died.

Lesson: For us to be set free from the bondage of sin, Good Friday, which is considered the most powerful day of the year in biblical history, a day four miracles happened, had to happen for the Good News of Easter to occur on that great get-up Sunday morning (Matthew 27:32-54).
