It Hurts Because It Matters

Greetings to all; this weekend, let us rest and be careful not to be troubled by the non-essential things.

It is natural for us to have opinions. We will analyze and speak against what others do or how they do what they do. When it's done to us, we often say it does not matter but torment ourselves, hurting in silence. It hurts because it matters.

Luke 10:40–42 (NCV)

40 But Martha was busy with all the work to be done. She said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me alone to do all the work? Tell her to help me."

41 But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things.

42 Only one thing is important. Mary has chosen the better thing, which will never be taken away from her."

Lesson: What matters to us matters to God. However, do not focus on the opinions of others. Serve God completely and with a whole heart.
