I Never Knew You

Greetings to all. As we navigate life, let us not be misled into thinking we know and understand the people we encounter.

Who truly knows who? We and those we encounter will only show parts of us that do not show us in our entirety. While we should be able to trust who others say they are, it is important not to be fooled into thinking we fully know each other. It is like seeing the tip of an iceberg; there is so much more beneath the surface.

Matthew 7:22–23 (NCV)

22 On the last day, many people will say, 'Lord, Lord, we spoke for you, and through you, we forced out demons and did many miracles.'

23 I will tell them, 'Get away from me, you who do evil. I never knew you.'

Lesson:  Encountering individuals who only reveal a part of themselves that does not fully represent them is a reminder of the vastness of human complexity and the potential for misunderstanding.
