Greetings to all, may God's peace and love be with each of us on this beautiful commemorative Saturday. I pray that as we go about our way today, we will be safe. I pray that the spirit of God guides us and unites us as one nation. May He continue to bless us and keep us! Amen
Today is July 4, 2020, Independence Day, a legal holiday in the United States. On this day, as a nation, we pause to show our patriotic pride. On this day, as a country, we honor the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This date is also known as America's birthday.
By trusting in God, He's made it possible for us to endure and to survive as a powerful and influential nation for 244 years.
Unfortunately, one of the greatest temptations of man is not to trust God, and another is to live outside of His will.
No one should want to be out of God's will or His hands, and rightfully so. Since the beginning of time, God the Lord of creation, our mighty God has always had a plan for ALL humanity and desires that not one of us perish.
Genesis 1:31a (GW)
31 And God saw everything that he had made and that it was very good.
"The Lord's plans stand firm forever." He is entirely trustworthy, and His intentions they never change.
Psalm 33:10-12 (GW)
10 The LORD blocks the plans of the nations. He frustrates the schemes of the people of the world.
11 The LORD'S plan stands firm forever. His thoughts stand firm in every generation.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Blessed are the people he has chosen as his own.
Isaiah 55:8 (TLB) 8 "This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours!
Lesson: Whenever we find ourselves doubting that we don't have anyone or anything to trust in, we should remember that God is consistent and He has included every one of us in His Plan. "In God We Trust"!!!
