Greetings to all, we have made it halfway through this week. On this "hump" day Wednesday, let us ask God to open our understanding so that we can be confident and faithful in our daily walk as we continue to wait. Amen
Only in God can the fullness of Joy be found. Each day as we wait with anticipation for the Joy and the happiness God has for us, let us be confident that what He has for us is for us.
The Joy that God has for us, it can't be taken, stolen, and no one can stop it. What we put our hope in or what we think will happen in the future will often determine and dictate how we live.
Each of us can either have our fears or our hopes come true. We make that choice by rejecting God and living our own way or by accepting God and following His ways.
As God's children, living a righteous life before the Lord, we don't have to put our hope in this world nor expect our Joy to come from others.
Proverbs 10:28 (GW)
28 The hope of righteous people {leads to} Joy, but the eager waiting of wicked people comes to nothing.
Lesson: Joy is a fruit of the spirits that come to us when we put our hope and trust in Jesus Christ.
Our righteousness is a gift from God, so we can have confidence in what God has promised will come to pass.
