Greetings to all, let us thank God on this "grateful" Thursday for the abundance of hope that He continuously provides that allows us to live a life of abundance. Amen
Thank God for the promised hope that He intends for us to have an abundant life. Not always easy because of the evil one, but because of the Good Shepherd, an abundant one.
John 10:10 (HCSB) A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have a life and have it in abundance.
We often forget that God is more than able to meet our needs, so we tend to hold back when it comes to giving freely and generously to the cause of God. We worry about not having enough left to meet our needs.
Each of us must figure out what an abundant life looks like for us. For us to say that we live in abundance means that we have more than enough of the things in life. For each of us to declare that we are blessed abundantly in life suggests that we are pleased and satisfied in every area of our lives.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.
Lesson: Although life is not always about what we can get, we have a promised hope that God can and He will meet our every need.
When it comes to being blessed abundantly, we must be mindful to accept even the smallest things in our life with gratitude and not with an ungrateful attitude.
