Greetings to all, yay, we made it to Friday! Let us thank God for another day, another chance to do His will in our lives, and another opportunity to become better at loving Him and each other. Amen
The week has come to an end, and we have survived another week. What didn't take us out has probably strengthened us.
Up until now, we may or may not have done everything according to God's plan, but we can thank God that there are no limits to his Love, His Grace and that there are no boundaries to His Mercies.
Ephesians 2:3-5 (GW)
3 All of us once lived among these people and followed the desires of our corrupt nature. We did what our corrupt desires and thoughts wanted us to do. So, because of our nature, we deserved God's anger just like everyone else.
4 But God is rich in mercy because of his great love for us.
5 We were dead because of our failures, but he made us alive together with Christ. (It is God's kindness that saved you.)
Lamentations 3:21-24 (GW)
21 “The reason I can {still} find hope is that I keep this one thing in mind:
22 the LORD'S mercy. We were not completely wiped out. His compassion is never limited.
23 It is new every morning. His faithfulness is great.
24 My soul can say, ‘The LORD is my lot {in life}. That is why I find hope in him.'
Lesson: Each of us makes mistakes and does unacceptable things from time to time, but we are not destroyed because we serve a merciful God of great love, whose compassions never fail!
We shouldn't be hard on ourselves because God gives us many chances to get things right, and He also desires us to do the same for each other.
