Heaven Can't Be Bankrupted

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for His great way of giving to us the things we have need and want. Let us remember to give our best in whatever we do for the Lord and others.

For many of us, we come to a point and time in our lives when we throw up our hands, not in praise or worship but out of frustration, saying that we have had enough or that we have nothing else to give.

It is our human nature to hold back and to give up on God and others. We might describe this as being personally or spiritually bankrupt. But God, He is faithful and, even with all that He promises and desires to give us, will not exhaust or bankrupt heaven.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (TLB)

9 That is what is meant by the Scriptures which say that no mere man has ever seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love the Lord.

Luke 12:33 (MSG)

33 "Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can't go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bank robbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on.

Lesson: When we live as faithful Christians, we live in hope and God's promise to cancel our spiritual bankruptcy by filling our lives with heaven's blessings. Don't limit God's giving to only what He has already done because there is so much more that He desires to give.

Heaven can't be bankrupted!
