He's Intentional.

Greetings to all, let us thank God for his mercy and grace on this "grateful" Thursday. May we feel safe knowing that He knows all about us, all about our needs, and He promises to provide. Let's thank God for creating each of us with a divine plan and purpose. Amen

As Christians, we are to live for Jesus. Now, this doesn't mean that we will always have an easy life, but we can live a life whereby we know that our lives are in the best hands.

Whatever God does or allows in our lives will always be for our good, because He is intentional and He never fails us.

Jeremiah 29:11 (TLB)

11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29 is a message of hope to the Jewish exiles in Babylon, telling them to make the best of their 70 years of captivity because God had a plan in allowing it.

We, too, knowing that we are in the best hands, can live our lives effectively and intentionally. We don't have to let those who don't know the Lord tell us what's important or necessary; we should listen to our hearts that are filled with constant prayer and with the knowledge of God's words.

1 Timothy 4:14-16 (TLB)

14 Be sure to use the abilities God has given you through his prophets when the elders of the church laid their hands upon your head.

15 Put these abilities to work; throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone may notice your improvement and progress.

16 Keep a close watch on all you do and think. Stay true to what is right, and God will bless you and use you to help others.

Romans 8:28 (TLB)

28 And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.

Lesson: When we live a life that is intentional about our relationship with the Lord, with His help, we will survive the less desirable situations and conditions and we will be able to make the best of them.
