Greetings to all. This weekend, for those who can, let us move from work to rest.
We know the importance of work ethics, but many must understand the value of rest ethics. When there is a healthy and wise balance, we work and rest so that we can live to work and rest another day.
Hebrews 4:8–10 (NKJV)
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day afterward.
9 There remains, therefore, a rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered His rest has also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Lesson: There is always something to do. But we all desire to stop working and enjoy the fruits of our labor at some point. We all may be unable to rest from our work here. But there will come a time when we enter heavenly rest when our work is done.
