Hamster Wheel Of Life

Greetings to all; as we approach the end of the week, let us evaluate our progress to ensure that we have achieved the goals we set for ourselves.

In our attempts to give one hundred percent to every area of life, we can get caught up in life trying to please everybody. Some obstacles we face can make life feel busy and unfair. Instead of feeling accomplished and fulfilled, we feel like we are going in circles on a hamster wheel.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (GW)

11 I saw something else under the sun. The race is not ⸤won⸥ by fast runners or the battle by heroes. Wise people do not necessarily have food. Intelligent people do not necessarily have riches, and skilled people do not necessarily receive special treatment. But time and unpredictable events overtake all of them.

Lesson: Because we measure our progress and get our sense of accomplishment and satisfaction from the goals we set, we may find ourselves on the hamster wheel of life when we do not complete our planned tasks and goals. However, we do not have to get stuck there.
