Greetings to all, as we worship today, let us thank God for giving us a measure of faith. May we grow our faith and allow it to cause us to do the mighty works that God has for each of us. Amen
We often live our lives satisfied with having faith the size of a mustard seed. Yet, God desires that we grow and mature that faith spiritually so that we will be able to walk in the level of favor and anointing He has for us.
Unfortunately, we all fall sometimes because we try to survive with only that small measure of faith, and we don't put any effort into growing it and even sometimes maintaining it.
Then, when life doesn't go the way we want it to, we do just what Satan wants us to do, and that is to hate God and blame Him for it.
We forget that Jesus is praying for us and that God has complete control.
Luke 22:31-32 (TLB)
31 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to have you, to sift you like wheat,
32 but I have pleaded in prayer for you that your faith should not completely fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen and build up the faith of your brothers."
Lesson: As God's children, Satan wants us. But with the knowledge that God has so much power, even Satan has to get permission to attack us. So let us grow our faith and into who we are in Christ Jesus.
