Greetings to all, as we come to this mid-week on this "hump" day Wednesday, let us thank God for imparting to us His strength that has the power to change each of our lives. Amen
Jesus, who sets the most excellent example for prayer, knew prayer's power in an isolated place. To have our best morning ever and to do what God has for us to do powerfully throughout the day, we all should start each day with the power of prayer from an isolated place.
Mark 1:35-37 (NLT2)
35 Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.
36 Later, Simon and the others went out to find him.
37 When they found him, they said, "Everyone is looking for you."
Philippians 4:13 (TLB)
13 for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ, who gives me the strength and power.
Lesson: There is power and a necessity of great importance to us having private devotions. We are more powerful than we know when we go in and come out of our prayer room with Jesus.
When everyone comes looking for us, they may not see us coming out of our prayer room but we can show them Jesus's strength and power in us.
