Greetings to all, as we move through life this week and things are not going as we expect them to, let's consider what foundation we are standing on and let it be God's word because we can trust it to anchor us. Amen
Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines infallible as (incapable of error), and we know and believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
We should follow, stand, and hold on to it. There is nothing in life that God cannot see us through; during hard times, we can fully put our trust in the word of God because it will last forever, and it speaks with God's authority.
Proverbs 30:5 (HCSB)
5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Isaiah 40:8 (HCSB)
8 The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever."
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (GW)
16 Every Scripture passage is inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people, and training them for a life that has God's approval.
17 They equip God's servants so that they are completely prepared to do good things.
Lesson: Having God in our lives and standing on His word in our life doesn't mean that our lives will be smooth sailing, but it assures us of being anchored during rough times and will indeed sustain, guide, and keep us from sinking in despair.
