God's Word Is Precious

Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, let us thank our Precious and Almighty God for another day! May we find the strength, wisdom, and whatever we need not in the physical consumption of our daily bread but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Ref. Matt 4:4). Amen

There is nothing in this world more important or valuable to us than God's word. Yet, there was a time in history when God's messages were few and far between, and visions were uncommon. God was not communicating His will through prophets or priests, He was silent, and these times were spiritually dark.

1 Samuel 3:1 (MSG)

1 The boy Samuel was serving GOD under Eli's direction. This was at a time when the revelation of God was rarely heard or seen.

God means what He says in His word, so we should not take them for granted. After all, they are sharper than a two-edged sword cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey (Hebrews 4:12).

Scripture also warns us to seek God while He can be found, and we are to pray to Him while He is reachable (Isaiah 55:6).

How precious is God's word to you? The prophet Jeremiah was glad to declare God's word, and we must be happy to receive and declare it too.

Jeremiah 15:16 (TLB)

16 Your words are what sustain me; they are food to my hungry soul. They bring joy to my sorrowing heart and delight me. How proud I am to bear your name, O Lord.

Lesson: The words of God are perfect. They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light. God's words are pure, eternal, and just. They are more desirable and precious than gold.

They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb; they warn us away from harm and give success to those who obey them (Ref. Psalm 19:7-11).
