Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us not take anything for granted. Let us continue to ask for God's blessings and more so for His healing of this land. Amen
We thank God for our family and friends that we can turn to, knowing that they have our backs when the tough time comes and when we find ourselves surrounded by impossible and unimaginable situations.
The problem with family and friends is that they are limited in what they can and will do. They may also let us down while they mean us well. Our hope should ultimately be in the assurance of God's all-time protection.
Psalm 121:5-8 (NRSV)
5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8 The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.
Lesson: Today, let us remain grateful that God is watching over us and protecting us at all times and that He knows the gravity and the seriousness of our concerns. He hears our cries, and He has our back.
