God Is Trustworthy

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, let us be comforted by God's sovereignty.

It is important to be someone others can trust and count on. However, we must be wise not to drop or abandon people because of the lure of others who want to bribe or entice us for their benefit. Thankfully, Our God, who we trust and depend on, cannot be bought.

Deuteronomy 10:17 (GW)

17 The LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, powerful, and awe-inspiring God. He never plays favorites and never takes a bribe.

Lesson: We can rest assured that material offerings cannot compromise our faith and reliance on God. God, in His sovereignty and His will, is not for sale. He does what He wants. However, we must use discernment and avoid forsaking others due to the allure of external influences seeking to sway or entice us.
