God Is Blessing You!

Greetings to all, happy "Grateful" Thursday; today is a gift to us from God, so let us enjoy it. May God shower us with His most incredible blessings, and I pray that they will flow through us to those we encounter. Amen

We're living in some dark days where it seems like everything good is under assault, and evil is prevailing. The Bible often compares goodness with light and evil with darkness. Many of us were living the life that we had planned for the year 2020, only to have those plans dashed and put on hold.

In our lives, everything is not always what it looks like!

Many try to blame others for their troubles, but God never fails us, nor will He forsake us despite our flaws and wrongdoings.

God will never tempt us. However, He will use the most challenging things and situations in our lives to shape us and to bless us.

Since the beginning of time, God, the Father of lights, has been the giver of all good things. He floods the light of His love on us; he blesses us with the gifts of His goodness and grace.

James 1:13-18 (MSG)

13 Don't let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, "God is trying to trip me up." God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one's way.

14 The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust.

15 Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.

16 So, my very dear friends, don't get thrown off course.

17 Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.

18 He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures.

Lesson: Even during our darkest hours, our God who never changes, wants each of us who belong to Christ Jesus to live our lives being cheerful no matter what; praying all the time, and thanking God no matter what's happening (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

God has blessed us with a measure of faith; we don't have to be fed up or discouraged about what is happening and what will happen next. Our faith will see us through!
