Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for choosing us.
We can encounter those who do not believe we have any worth or value. Many times it is those who know you, your people, and where you are from.
Matthew 13:54–57 (GW)
54 Jesus went to his hometown and taught the people in the synagogue in a way that amazed them. People asked, "Where did this man get this wisdom and the power to do these miracles?
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary? Aren't his brothers' names James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?
56 And aren't all his sisters here with us? Where, then, did this man get all this?"
57 So, they took offense at him. But Jesus told them, "The only place a prophet isn't honored is in his hometown and his own house."
Lesson: It is a good chance that the enemy will come after you because God chose you. People will also not believe that what they are seeing or hearing can be done by you.
