Getting Back On Track

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, let us not give up, but keep our focus on God, our all-loving and compassionate God. Amen

As God's people, we must remember that He is sovereign and has a plan for us, even doing our most wasteful and useless days. There is no distance that we can go that's too far from God's love.

On those days when we fall off track and struggle to get back on, we can always return to God. He only requires that we love Him and return to Him with our whole hearts.

Joel 2:12-14 (MSG)

12 But there's also this, it's not too late—GOD's personal Message!—"Come back to me and really mean it! Come fasting and weeping, sorry for your sins!"

13 Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to GOD, your God. And here's why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe.

14 Who knows? Maybe he'll do it now, maybe he'll turn around and show pity. Maybe, when all's said and done, there'll be blessings full and robust for your GOD!

Jeremiah 2:9 (TLB)

9 "But I will not give you up—I will plead for you to return to me and will keep on pleading; yes, even with your children's children in the years to come!

Lesson: Even when life happens, we can always get back on track by turning our affection back to God.
