Greetings to all; as we close out this week, let us look toward the future and embrace the valuable lessons from the past.
Our pasts have great stains, yet we can learn valuable lessons from them. While some advocate for a forward-only approach, some recognize the freedom from honoring and learning from the past. Some argue that to be free from the past, we must keep moving forward, leaving and forgetting the realities and memories of the past.
Leviticus 14:7 (GW)
7 He will sprinkle the blood seven times on the one to be cleansed and declare that person clean. Then, he will let the living bird fly away into the open country.
Lesson: In the Old Testament, birds were released after a cleansing ritual, symbolizing freedom. The blood of Jesus has completed our cleansing, and our freedom to soar comes from acknowledging and not repeating past mistakes.
