Foolish People

Greetings to all; we have come to the end of the week. I trust we all made wise choices and avoided conflicts and foolish behavior.

It can be challenging to avoid and successfully handle conflicts. Because everyone is responsible for their behavior, we should aim to carry ourselves in a way that leads to and will maintain positive relationships.

1 Samuel 25:23–25

23 As soon as Abigail saw David, she got off her donkey and fell on her knees at his feet, her face to the ground in homage,

24 saying, “My master, let me take the blame! Let me speak to you. Listen to what I have to say.

25 Do not dwell on what that brute Nabal did. He acts out the meaning of his name: Nabal, Fool. Foolishness oozes from him. “I was not there when the young men my master sent arrived. I did not see them.

Lesson: Unfortunately, there will be those who behave foolishly. When others act carelessly and foolishly without thinking of the results, we must remain level-headed and keep them from pulling us into conflicts.
