Greetings to all, on this Monday, let us have the courage to follow Christ and make the required changes that will allow us to see God and His ways. Amen
God is always at work in our lives, but we often fail to see or understand what He is doing. To see God's work in our lives, we are required to make a significant change. We must have the faith, courage, and determination to unfollow the world and follow Jesus.
Mark 9:23 (GW)
23 Jesus said to him, "As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes."
Making the change to follow Jesus is the most pivotal change we will make. This change can be challenging, but it shows an outward demonstration that we have turned away from our selfish, sinful desires and ways. It also shows our trust in Jesus, the one who will never fail us.
Matthew 16:24-25 (TLB)
24 Then Jesus said to the disciples, "If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
25 For anyone who keeps his life for himself shall lose it, and anyone who loses his life for me shall find it again.
Lesson: Some changes needed in our lives will be unexpected, and others will take some planning. Either way, it takes courage on our behalf to unfollow the world and follow Jesus.
