Greetings to all; as we end this week, it is important to remember that despite our flaws and imperfections, we are never beyond repair.
Because we live in a fallen world, the events of our day-to-day lives and the things around us have the potential to break and emotionally wound us. God has the power to mend what is broken around us and in us. But, if we expect to be fixed, we must first recognize and acknowledge our brokenness and emotional wounds. We must then give them to the Lord.
1 Peter 5:6–7 (NCV)
6 Be humble under God's mighty hand so he will lift you when the right time comes.
7 Give all your worries to him because he cares about you.
Lesson: By acknowledging our emotional wounds and brokenness, we open ourselves up to the process of being fixed with healing and restoration. Let us hold onto hope and trust in God's grace to bring about the repair and fixing we need.
