Feeling Our Storms

Greetings to all; as we begin this new week, let us strive to be obedient and seek peace despite whatever we may feel or face.

Many of us tend to go about doing what we want but are fearful or willfully not doing what it is God has for us to do. While God is patient and understanding, He is known to send or allow storms that we can't help but feel the rage to get our attention and reveal our lack of obedience.

Jonah 1:11–12 (GNB)

11 The storm was getting worse all the time, so the sailors asked him, "What should we do to you to stop the storm?"

12 Jonah answered, "Throw me into the sea, and it will calm down. I know it is my fault that you are caught in this violent storm."

Lesson: We don't only have storms because of disobedience; God also use them to grow us spiritually. So, when feeling our storm, Because God is our anchor, we must place our faith and trust in Him, look beyond our storm and seek His instructions and directions for our lives.
