Feeling Down, Look Above

Greetings to all, Thank God we have made it to another "hump" day Wednesday. I pray and trust the days behind us are just that; and that each of us feels the loving and caring presence of God in our lives. If anyone is feeling down, we bind that spirit and ask God to restore us with whatever we may need to finish this week strong. Amen

During these uncertain times, many of us are facing many different situations and circumstances. It may be our finances, our marriages, our ministries, and maybe our children. These times can be painful and troubling, leaving us not feeling upbeat and causing our Spirits to be downcast.

Some people have the misconception that once we become believers that we won't or don't experience challenging times or painful circumstances.

That's not true, but what is true is that we serve the God who is the restorer and the repairer of our lives. For anyone who's feeling down and unsure where your help is going to come from; look above and glorify, magnify, and give the Lord praise, He is with us.

He's the lifter of our head!

Psalm 3:3 (HCSB)

3 But You, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts up my head.

Psalm 43:5 (AMP)

5 Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance, and my God.

Lesson: Praise the Lord, when we seek the Lord, we will lack for nothing good. We must continually seek His strength and His face because He is powerful and gives victory to us as His chosen people ( Psalm 28:6:8; 1 Chronicle 16:11).
